Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of this website and any work you hire Quality Boynton Beach Concrete Company to do. By using the site, calling us or booking a job, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Your written estimate or contract for a job takes priority over this page wherever the two say something different, because that document is written for your property and your project.
What we do
We're a concrete contractor in Boynton Beach, FL. We build driveways, patios, sidewalks, pool decks, steps, slabs, footings and other concrete work for homes and businesses in Boynton Beach and the cities around it. You'll find the full list of services on our home page, and you can read more about our crew on our About page. We're licensed and insured.
What you read on this site is general information about the trade. It isn't an engineering opinion or a promise about your property, because every job depends on the ground, the drainage and the access at your house.
Estimates and pricing
Our estimates are free and done in person, and you're under no obligation to hire us. An estimate is our price for the work we can see, based on things like the size of the job, how much digging and base work it needs, access for the crew and the finish you pick.
Some things only show up once the old slab is out or the ground is open, such as soft fill, roots, buried lines or a subgrade, the soil the slab sits on, that needs more work. If that happens, we stop, show you what we found and tell you what it changes, and we don't bill for extra work you haven't approved.
Prices on an estimate hold for the period written on it. After that, we may need to update them, because material costs change.
Scheduling, weather and cancellation
We set a start date with you once you approve the estimate. Concrete depends on the weather, so rain, storms or heavy heat can move a pour, and we'll move it rather than pour in conditions that leave you with a weak slab. Material delays, inspections and site access can also shift dates, and we'll call you when they do.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us at (561) 336-6418 as early as you can. Any charge for canceling after materials are ordered or the crew is booked will be written in your contract.
Your part of the job
We need clear access to the work area, and we need you to tell us about anything private underground that we wouldn't know about, like sprinkler lines, drain pipes or wiring to a light or pump. Damage to private lines nobody told us about isn't our responsibility.
New concrete needs time to cure, which means it keeps gaining strength for days after the pour. Please keep people, pets and vehicles off it until we tell you it's ready, because early traffic can mark or crack it.
Payment
Your estimate or contract spells out any deposit, when the balance is due and the ways you can pay. Please read it before you sign so there are no surprises.
If a payment is late, we may pause the work until it's settled. We may also use the remedies Florida law gives contractors, which can include a lien on the property where the work was done.
Warranties and what concrete normally does
Any warranty on our work is the one written in your contract, and it covers what it says there. We don't make any other promise, spoken or implied, unless it's in writing.
Concrete is a natural material, so fine hairline cracks, slight color differences and small surface variation are normal and aren't defects. We cut control joints, the grooves that give a slab a planned place to crack, so cracks usually follow them instead of running across the middle.
Warranties don't cover damage caused by loads heavier than the slab was built for, harsh chemicals or deicers, careless pressure washing, ground movement under areas we didn't prepare, or use of the slab before we said it was ready.
This website is provided as is. We try to keep it accurate, but we don't promise it's free of errors or always available.
Limits on our liability
To the extent Florida law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost use of a driveway, lost income or costs from delays outside our control. For any job, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.
Nothing on this page limits a responsibility that the law doesn't allow to be limited.
Settling a problem
If something isn't right, call us or reach us through our contact page first. We'll come look at it and work with you on fixing it, and most problems get settled that way.
If we can't settle it between us, either side may take the matter to the state or county courts in Palm Beach County, Florida.
Governing law
These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
Outside services and links
Our estimate request form runs on an outside form service, and the site may link to other websites. Those services have their own terms and privacy rules, and we aren't responsible for their content or how they handle your information.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one that applies to your use of the site. A contract you've already signed stays as signed.
If you have a question about anything here, call us at (561) 336-6418 or send a note through our contact page.
